日本樂天軟體工程師面試分享 (2021) Rakuten Software Engineer Interview

一階段面試

Codility ，問題難度大概 LeetCode easy ~ medium，只有一題，有一個禮拜時間作答。個人覺得不難～

二階段面試

No coding question 🙌 only questions related to your resume and behavioral question.

第一關

整個interview是用zoom進行，大概半小時。有兩個面試官，人都很好，英文也不錯。面試氣氛和諧，不時還會開個玩笑。

80% 時間會根據你的履歷或自我介紹加深去問問題，像我之前做了一個衝浪網站，當場叫我share screen 介紹這個網站。並問我implement不同feature 的細節，當初開發遇到的難點等等。

Questions:

Tell me about yourself?

What’s your web development experience?

Why do you want to be a engineer?

What do you see yourself in three years as a engineer?

Why Rakuten? Why do you want to work in japan? (Million dollar question!)

第二關

大概15分鐘後，HR說我過了第一關，馬上寄給我另外一個link進行第二關面試。這關是直接跟team的主管面試。整個過程也很愉快，其實很多時間是主管在跟我分享他在Rakuten的經驗，公司的文化，還一直說 Rakuten is Crazy (in a good way).

Questions:

What’s your motivation working in Rakuten?

How do you learn a new skill?

Why Rakuten? Why do you want to work in japan? (Again !!)

How do you resolve stress when you face difficulties?

Please explain a situation when you encounter surprise in your life? And how do you deal with it? (Non-technical is fine)

What service or solution do you think Rakuten can provide to help solving Covid-19 pandamic? ( Interviewer meantioned that this is a hard one and will not be counted toward my final result)

Positive Interview Experience

整個面試讓我感覺到日本人的有效率，很快就通知每一關的面試結果。但讓我驚訝的是大部分都是behavioral question. 覺得英文表達能力好一點的話就能拿到offer (個人意見）
